Comments: Lively atmosphere, character, feels like a WWII safety hole, arched vaulted brick in cellar, little to no mobile reception, old York photos, good central location, good sized beer garden.
"Safety hole" - or 'bomb shelter' in common or garden English. Only regulars get mobile reception ;)
